I love to imagine bringing a friend to his or her first classical music concert and seeing my friend be thrilled to the core. Classical music is anything but a dying art. This is an absolutely electrifying time for classical music, and I promise to bring electrifying musicians to our Music at The Park for concerts that are sure to delight one and all.
Living in New York City, I always felt that we had the best pool of talent, yet very limited channels through which to connect that talent with audiences. New ideas for concerts appear literally by the minute. When I talk to people about Music at The Park, I hear an abundance of “So and so should be heard more often,” or “Why hasn’t this been done before?” etc. Well, now that the music series is becoming a reality, the only delicious question is, “Where shall we begin?”
